The face of a President?
So in an unsurprising twist Jacob Zuma is now the President of the ANC and thus almost guaranteed to become the President of the country in 2009 when elections role around.
Wow…. this is the worst thing possible to ever happen to our country. Economist are already forecasting a dip in the market on news of Zuma’s election. According to this website the man never received any formal education. Many people see him as corrupt, a sexist as well as a rapist in many eyes whether acquitted from that accusation or not. I’m sorry, how do you respect a man with little integrity, a dubious past and a broken moral compass?
It’s a really sad day for South Africa in my mind, we’re on a one way track straight to typical African dictatorship. People consider Zuma a better option than Mbeki but then again Robert Mugabe seemed like a better option to Ian Smith. It seems like it’s a matter of time till rape and corruption become acceptable. I mean the president did it, why cant I?
This can only lead to a downturn in our economy, level of justice in the country and general lifestyle. It will also only lead to a further brain drain with skilled intellectuals leaving in droves.
Good job to the ANC delegates in Polokwane, they chose a corrupt, illiterate rapist over a lethargic, incompetent incumbent. Jacob Zuma is truly my hero, he has shown that by being corrupt and incompetent he can still win votes. I’ll see you all in 2 years time in the UK, Australia or whatever country will take South Africans.
