Most stations messed things up when they tried to be PC, u cant make everyone happy, niche markets weren’t such a bad thing!!! DJ FRESH!!! ahhh, enough said

David… Really? I’m listening to them as we speak (not willingly) and they are… Well… Young. Far from edgy. The show REALLY needs a lot of work.
5FM had power to hold a good audience – These guys load shedded that. They truly suck – nothing else describes it better

I think they are fun. Even in your’niche’radio stations you’l still find programms that are not to liking. Thumbs up to Grant and Anele.
i think that show sucks ..its slow and damm those two need to learn how to make us the listeners enjoy the show..i cant believe that 5fm got thoses 2 helllppppp…and the SASH man is not the same with out IAN…
Honestly guys I couln’t agree more. I suppose it’s nothing personal but I can’t wait for Grant & Anele to finish their show everyday!!! It’s uninteresting, dull and just plain boring man!!! The only DJ’s worth a listen on 5fm these days are Gareth and of course the Fresh. Let them go man!!! …just a thought…

Grant and Anele I think are 1 of the best on 5FM weekdays, if not even more than weekends! I seriously think they’re on a roll compared to Ian and Sasha together even though they’re legends on 5fm!!! To be honest I never thought they’d be this good from day one! I even heard Anele take over Koula’s top 40 show for one day and she had energy for every hour like she already knew the routine!!! Grant and Anele really makes use of the best skills on radio, I heard it and I’m really impressed. They will shine bright for sure!
Grant and Anele Rock man!!!! peolpe are just resistant to change and hence all the negativity. give change a chance it might just grow on. 5fm is for the youth they need young vibrant dynamic people Grant and Anele ooooooooze this so find something else to complain about or simple if it bugs you don’t listen–
Grant and Anele certainly do a good job of being the poster children for self-lobotomy. Their prank calls aren’t even funny. Their entire show sounds rehearsed. Weak. Purile. Poor radio. The other day they broke up a couple on the air (granted, the guy was cheating on the girl) but if I wanted that sort of ‘entertainment’ I would watch the frikken Jerry Springer Show. Is this what 5fm is degrading too? Maybe I’m becoming an ‘old’ listener (at 29) and need to change ot another radio station. I just find it sad that the mindless content of these two is what ‘new’ listeners are into?
Ok im young (19) so basically i’m in the age bracket of where the show is geared towards. Now i know they meant to be funny and quirky or whatever, but they are horrible, in fact i’d rather sing or talk to myself and make jokes about the passing bushes and trees (with no radio) because it’s more entertaining than the things they do and “talk” about on that show. In fact i get really aggravated listening to that show because radio in this country is not good….at all, but this show is the pinnacle of uselessness of radio today and it makes me quite sad and angry to see of what has become entertainment for young people today.

As for Mlu’s sports roundup – they don’t need a comedy spot!! Just listen to Mlu! He’s bound to f&#@ everything up! He knows ZIP about sport, can’t read, doesn’t sound like he even prepares the news, because it catches him off guard every time! Who does he know, that he got the job??

Sean… I hate to point it out but you are criticising the CALLERS on on that show, rather than the DJ. I totally agree with you, in fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that exact call, but it’s not Fresh’s fault the people who call in are stupid. That’s how I feel when I listen to Grant%Anele’s show, except I get excited when people call in because they lift the IQ to about 60…
Grant and Anele make my day like every day. The only problem is complaints over crap music and so crap it goes on. I care for the DJs and themselves but the crap music has to stop. I bet they won’t even allow the new Metallica on the playlist.

I think they’re fun but why would they be chops? Their music playlist is sometimes sweet and the old music playlist choices are cool too. It does feel as though something is missing..
I like all the shows. From Gareth in the mornings Sasha Grant and Anele and Fresh. Koula is during TV prime time so i don’t listen. The 5 Djs (all of them actually prepare for their shows which I like. i listened to Yfm and I got the feeling the preparation they do is just think: hmm… I think I will talk about something today. They think of one thing and thats it. 5Rocks they can improve but they Rock. Grant and Anele Ya’ll ROCK!! (even though Anele like beyonce)

I feel that the DJ’s lately have changed from sharp and witty to Overloud (trying to be witty) and Obnoxious, with their opinion on everything. U are entitled to your opinion, but listeners dont really care so keep it to your selves. And the perfect example is Grant and Anele.
Personally, I dont like Grant and Anele’s show. Their topics are silly, they try to be controversial but miss the boat. But that is just really my opinion.
Where I think they go wrong is that they are very uneducated/ignorant when it comes to music. They make statements about musicians and songs that are not correct. That is unacceptable when you are DJ. If you dont know who the artist is, then rather check up first before sounding stupid. It happens so often that they are becoming a joke with the other DJ’s.

i think Grant and Anele’s show is okay..it could be better but i enjoy it. All they need to really brush up on are the topics they want to engage the listeners in..for an example today they were talking about belly buttons..i mean really now. but all in all i like them. 5fm has changed slightly but its still the ish compared to other radio stations.
the only reason so many people listen to them is the schedule, fortunately for them they are before the fresh drive, possibly the best of 5fm……..makes you wonder how many other listeners they have driven away….. ps they are boring dull and their attempts at being edgy stretch only as far as how drunk they were the previous evening….
ps with online radio stations all over now, i prefer to listen to several through the day kiss 100 from the uk is quiete good as well as capital radio in the morning some of the brazilian stations are good if you know a little Portuguese
They talk total shit non stop – get them off the Fu*king air already!
