I had the pleasure of finding the most ridiculously twisted site this week that helps in “outing” evil men. The site is called “Do Not Date Him” and basically it’s about making sure that women do not date the losers and assholes of South Africa.
While I applaud the concept in that it can potentially protect women from abusive men it’s unfortunately very, very open to misuse.
To sign up for the site, you need to have an email address, a username and a password. I haven’t had the time to sign up for the site but I imagine then all you need is then to upload an optional picture and promote your sob story. It’s hardly a fool proof system and is highly open to anyone uploading a “sob story”
Now bearing in mind that I could quite easily upload pictures and stories of my friends as a joke the more worrying issue is that of the crazies. This stereotypical “evil-crazy woman” with the proverbial “crazy eyes” could easily put a picture and story of a guy that has scorned them. People’s reputations could easily be tainted either as a joke or by a crazy stalker type. The moment Google starts indexing this sort of thing it could easily affect careers when employers do a Google search.
The problem with a site like this is that there are two sides of the story. The guy might have have a reason for acting a certain way and should be allowed to give his side of the story. At the end of the day what we have here is potential defamation on a massive scale.
I guess from my point of view it’s just sad that men have this terrible reputation. I hope Do Not Date Him either changes their service fairly soon or manages to find a happy medium rather than blatant man bashing. Until such time, don’t give women a reason to hate you.

I frankly think this site should just disappear. Sometimes all it takes for a woman to go on the path of revenge is not getting something she wants – the guy doesn’t necessarily have to do anything wrong.

On the one hand I can see the value of something like this but I just don’t see how it can be set up in such a way as not to go overboard or even be abused by vindictive users.
This is crazy, bt then l guess we have a democratic right to say what we want abt who ever, bt l STRONGLY suggest that men sue the owner of the website if your photo appears on it. for heavens sake women thes days do the most horrible things, my girlfriend was sleeping with 2 other guys bt hey thats life, let us not destroy peoples lives coz of the woman that started this website, l say sue her.
Some people love these complaint sites, like hellopeter.com.
They all get abused on a daily basis to smear people over petty issues.

Whoeva started dat site needs 2 get her ass sued by the guys who’ll find themselves being subjects of dat site in anyway , even if it says u can date him.sue her ass off da face of da planet, if dat dont work will track her down nd pay sum ppl to make her life hell.
Bryan l support you 100%, and another thing, if say it were to go on which it shouldnt, it should be mandotory for the woman to post her pic along side the man she is trying to destroy, we want BOTH SIDES of the story, otherwise its a crap site that should be shut down.

Wow what a a great site. I love men and am a sexy and popular girl. So before you cast me as the vengeful ugly cow I am quite the opposite. But I have met a few pigs in my time and why not name and shame them. You whinging guys out there start a site of your own. Problem is if you name a girl as one who sleeps around every guy in town will be after her. Just the difference in the morals and nature of the sexes I guess?

Consider this example:
Piet Pompies writes in to complain about his date with Inga Humpadink.
“I spent over R2000 wining and dining this little minx, and at the end of the evening, she did not ‘hump my dink’. Will not be going back for a second date. Probably a gold digger.”
Hmmmm did she promise to hump your dink and then reneged. The guys who are named and shamed are those who LIE BIG TIME – they make false promises – I really want to settle down/really want to get married/ you are the only person I am seeing/You are THE ONE/we don’t need to use condomes I have not been with any one for over a year blah blah. OUTRIGHT LIES. If you take out a girl and drop 2 grand on her in a night – you are the fool – and then expect sex – you are acting on assumption – did she tell you she shags on the first date??? – if so and then she reneges – sure name and shame her – but if she told no direct lies why make assumptions????
It’s obvious the woman that started this website is an idiot. No wonder her ex cheated on her! Has she for one moment thought of the possible consequences should one of these ‘monsters’ as described on her website take revenge and murder his ex?
Remember, we have seen that happened on Facebook. So she is in fact jeopardizing her member’s safety! Should this sort of thing happen the ISP could too be liable for damages.
Perhaps woman that was being cheated on should simply realize that the man of her dreams did not feel same about her and move on!

I think donotdatehim.com is the most idiotic idea ever. The best way to create a stalker or psycho scenario – is to pretend that some guy pissed you off. Then your whole life will be at risk. Dont do it ladies. It might seem like a quick way to punish a guy, but there are guys who know how to find out where this information came from and then …you will simply be punished for your sins!!!!

To all these guys calling her a dimwit… think first. There are sites like this in the US that have been sued countless times but are allowed to run nonetheless.
I believe better processes should be put in place around who gets to say what and more personal information should be verified before profiles are uploaded but overall this is a genuinely needed service.
There are just too many guys out there who are abusing women in numerous ways and a heads up would not only be appreciated, it’d be welcomed! The alternative, i.e. spending a lifetime believing a conman, is just too ghastly to envision.
If you read through the site , you will see that none of these men are responsible for minor issues. They are conmen who will take anybody for a ride and the only reason they prey on women is because romance is such an easy way to win somebodies trust. I have been involved with one such man. Initially he seemed to be everything I had ever wanted . I was his ” soulmate ” , his one and only until I discovered that not only did he not have a single penny to his name , he was uneducated ( no Phd) and everything he told me was a lie. He had simply been living off me till he found somewhere more lucrative to go . He vanished and in looking for him I came across 17 other women who had been conned by the same arsehole ! So DON’T tell me that a site like this is not worthwhile. I am a single parent , as were many of the other women – one had even recently been widowed and he drained us emotionally and financially , stealing , lying and abusing ! Few women are going to risk a defamation suit to list a profile that is not accurate.

Well that is what women have been doing since forever.
How many men will complain that the woman they love has no education and no income?
Most men are only too happy to look after their woman, but we also know that the reverse is totally not true.
Women want men for their money. If they don’t have that, they are considered worthless by females.
That is the shallowness of women, not so?
The more women complain, the more the truth about women becomes true. They are all gold diggers, too selfish to return the favour that men have paid them over the centuries.
