I truly hope that you printed this out, popped it in an envelope and managed to source some of those little sticky things called stamps to send this "snail-mail" to Mr Manuel, just in case he doesn't find it online. I suppose their only concern is how on earth they could privatise [or even turn into a semi-parastatal] an asset with a negative value and depreciating daily. I share the exact same sentiments. I imagine the extra boost has something to do with 2010... so hopefully by 2011 this will all change. I'm sure that decent management would have a much better impact the extra 1.6 billion Rand. Heck, imagine if SAA had to fend for itself like the other airlines??? The mind boggles how they manage to lose so much money every year. It would actually be really nice if they included a small survey on the e-filling website where the TAX Payers actually got to vote what they think should be a priority. Nicely said.
