WTF!!! it is a task just to delete something and did i mention that you can't customize it! Macs are for wannabe tech's or rich people with money to throw down the toilet and into that idiot steve Jobs's pocket, ugh!

I'm just a simple computer user, nothing fancy. But I've been using windows computers forever. I've never had a windows computer just stop working on me all together (I have had one that had a hardware problem, which was my fault shut off on me a few times).
The two times I used macs (two different macs, mind you) One of them was new, and it kept freezing and crashing, I think it was a mac book pro. The other was a very old school mac desktop, and it shut off while the owner and I were in the middle of a project.
I won't let these experiences scar my idea of a mac, but honestly, I'm getting sick of mac users telling me how terrible MY windows computer is, and how much MY windows computer has problems, when they've never even seen my computer.

It is not only MTN that diverts you to various departments as going on a mouse hunt in a dark labyrinth. Then only to be told some crappy story just before the call ends in frustration and failure and poverty. I personally think they get richer by the second just by screwing us around on these so call “Help Desks”. I have experienced the same sort of service with Vodacom and the worst is Telkom. My god, I think Telkom has at least 50 departments of which none know of the other. Just a simple task becomes impossible for them. How do these people get measured? Is it on the volume of calls a day or is it based on success rate of each call? Service delivery in the country is going down the tubes!! How awesome would it be if I get something resolved by the people that supply the service?

Great idea! Yashivan is very interesting and the two of you work well together. I just think it would be better if we could actually see your faces... Just a thought :)

As an addition, they've also undercut the price of the Droid making it a fairly superfluous device.

You make good points Saul. One thing I do appreciate about the Nexus is the low price -it will come in at $530 unlocked. The price alone will force other OHA members to start making better handsets at better prices. I mean, a snapdragon processor, OLED screen etc for that price is brilliant. At the end of the day we as consumers will get better phones.

I think regarding their broken promise we should take into account that the other OHA members have no real alternative ito OS. Windows Mobile is a joke, and Symbian is showing its age...

This will also give us a clear indication what Apple would see as the minimum bar to compete with in the next iPhone. OLED screen and 1GHz+ ? Great.

I'm not so sure there's going to be this huge show down that everyone is expecting. It's all been based on Apple's rejection of the Google voice app, and no one really knows what happened here and the reasons for it. For all we know, they were contractually bound to do so with AT&T.

Are Apple and Google really competing for the same market? Is the iPhone buyer also a potential Nexus buyer? A Mac user a potential ChromeOS user? I'm not so sure.

The first time I actually came across Unobtanium was in The Core - the best sci fi cheese fest of all time. Apparently though, it has quite a history and it seems that Cameron was doing a "nod" toward classic sci-fi. I don't know how true this is considering the mans ego though.

As for story...well I don't expect much else from him other than predictable. I just wish someone would stop letting him write dialogue. I will never get over Terminator and his damned "I came back in time for you Sarah" line. Most cringe worthy line ever.

All this being said, I actually haven't been to see this overhyped "marvel" yet. One, because it's overhyped and two, I friggen hate the abundant use of CG when there is a lack of a decent story - the one thing I have heard over and over.
